All ISCA members undertake commissions throughout the UK and you should choose the consultant best able to deal with your health and safety concerns.

I only need a quick answer to a small issue - do you offer free advice?

Answer

Please do not contact ISCA asking for free advice. An ISCA member company will be able to assist you as a fee paying client.

What costs are involved in using an ISCA consultant?

Answer

ISCA members have their own charging structure, it usually consists of a daily rate for the consultancy work, plus any travel and subsistence expenses, plus VAT.

How do I know I am getting competent advice and support?

Answer

Health and Safety consultants are largely unregulated - meaning that anyone can call themselves consultants. All ISCA members have to demonstrate competence in health and safety consulting before being admitted. All of our members have appropriate qualifications and membership of relevant institutions at the highest level.

The ISCA admissions criteria is robust - thus ensuring that you are getting the best advice and support

Yes. Our members are not "tied" into large financial, legal or other institutions.

I am looking for specific advice and support not listed on the ISCA website. Where can I find a specialist?

Answer

The ISCA website carries details of the general support services offered by members. However, most of our members offer "specialist" services over and above those listed on this site. Please contact ISCA members direct or visit their website for better particulars of the services they can provide.
